Exposure/Air Kerma

An in-air Nx (R/C) value is assigned to your chamber through direct, in-air comparison with a NIST traceable transfer quality chamber. The comparison accomplished using a cobalt-60 beam that has been collimated to a 10 x 10 cm field at the location of the chamber by a fixed collimator block. The approximate exposure rate at the point of calibration is 35 R/min. The calibration is accurate to within +/- 0.5% of NIST and the long term reproducibility for most chambers is better than 0.5%.
